I am happy to provide you with this letter of recommendation following your outstanding musical  performance during the final night of the first Didsbury Beer Festival 2008. 

  

The band arrived in good time, established what was expected, then setup quickly and without disturbing the proceedings, (drinking).   There followed a quick warm up/sound check  established the right volume for the venue and you were all set.  If I remember rightly, at this point one patron was so impressed he wanted you to start your first set straight away as he had to leave early, (and was willing to pay cash!). 

  

Overall, we were very impressed with how accommodating the band was and the ease with which you tailored your performance to the Festival Committee’s requirements.

 

The musical performance itself was superb, every member of the band is a very accomplished musician in their own right and together you produce a  sound that is tight, polished and professional.   The bands repertoire of songs proved very popular and you kept the whole crowd happy and  entertained.

 

 When you reached the end of your second set and asked whether you should carry on, we had no hesitation in agreeing to you upping the volume a bit and playing the festival to a rip-snorting finale with the  festival  goers singing and dancing along.   In the end we only brought the performance to  a close so that  one of the committee members could lead the band directly to the bar, before it shut,  instruct the bar staff to serve you free drink, (next time we will have to make sure we take your drinks orders as the evening progresses).  

 

When the Festival Committee re-convene later this month  to start organising next year’s Festival, I know one item at the top of the list will be to re-book Cheesyweasel.  so if you are reading this with a view to having  these guys appear at your venue, do yourself a favour, book them immediately.
